English version - Investments

Płońsk can boast a high index of foreign investments.
The French company ”Lu Polska”, which is a leader in the production of cookies, manufactures all its products in our town. The next French investor is ”Maestria” that specialises in development research, production and sale of paints. A multi-edition printing house belonging to the Swedish concern ”Elanders” occupies an important position on the Polish and European market. ”Lafarge Dachy” is a world leader in the production of building materials. An asbestos-cement roofing tile production plant is located in Płońsk. ”Płońkie Młyny” is one of the biggest producers of flour products in Poland. It produces about 3% of flour sold on the domestic market. The local investor – ”Inżynieria” PBOiRI General Construction and Engineering Works Company – executes broad range construction-installation works. The company obtained ISO 9001 certificate in the field of PVC, aluminium and wooden window and door production and construction services. One can indicate many successful investment projects implemented in Płońsk, with both foreign and domestic capital. Entrepreneurs are attracted to the town by its convenient location in the centre of Poland, near Warsaw, at an intersection of the most important transport routes. Equally important is also a good climate for investors, the right strategy of the local government towards companies interested in running its businesses in our town, application of convenient investment allowances, and possibility of gaining well-educated specialists, e.g. in technical sectors, from the local job market. From the point of view of companies operating in Płońsk, the neighbourhood of big cities and medium-sized towns is important because they are attractive outlets: Warsaw (65 km), Płock (50 km), Ciechanów (35 km), Łódź (125 km) and Toruń (140 km).
